Yesterday I landed in Lisbon with no place to stay, nobody to meet, and no agenda.
I opened my Airbnb app and selected Zuza Bed & Breakfast because of its location and description of a quiet oasis in the middle of the Old City.
After a decent night’s sleep, I drank 3 cups of coffee and opened my book, Savvy Woman in 5 Minutes a Day: Make Time for a Life That Matters, to today’s reading. My shoulders dropped and I exhaled deeply.
All of my needs are being met in this moment.
I found housing, food, and conversation with Luis Zuzarte, the owner of Zuza B&B within the first hour of arriving. I met Laura, Peter, and Debbie at breakfast this morning. I have great WIFI, and a beautiful deck from which to work.
